Face to Face
I listen to five different types of race. All of them have experienced something big in their life that had to do with fear and anxiety. They lose sleep and families worry about one another. I know that I would be really scared if I was involved in a serious situation. I know that the twin towers were a mess and awful to deal with but I barely remember it and I was miles away.

The Fault in Our Stars: Reading Response three
The Fault in Our Stars
More about the book I am reading The Fault in Our Stars for my book blog. I really enjoy reading it. Although when Hazel and Augustus went on their big trip to see the famous author Mr. Peter Van Houten, it didn't turn out as well as they would have liked. It didn't turn out the way I would of liked for it to of either.
They arrived and Mr. Peter Van Houten was drunk off of his butt. Augustus and Hazel did not know how to react at all. The authors secretary welcomed them in just fine, but as soon as the author saw them he wanted them gone as soon as possible. He just could not seem to put his alcohol down.
Hazel was not going to put up with what Mr. Van Houten any longer. She stood up and wanted to walk away. Gus said, "is this some kind of performance. " The author gave some silly speech, and was being sarcastic about everything. Gus and Hazel left and were so disappointed in what he had to say.
The secretary felt bad for them and offered to show them around town. They really wanted to make their crappy day better. They enjoyed it, and went to a cool museum, but unfortunately their elevator was broken and because Hazel has lung cancer it is really hard for her to manage to get up the stairs. When she made it to the very top her and Augusts kissed for the first time ever and their bad day didn't seem so bad after all.
This scene was very important in the book because it was the first time Hazel and Augustus kissed.

The Fault in our stars
Reading response two
I am still reading The Fault in Our Stars, and it just gets better with ever page. The way John Green writes seems to really catch my attention. He writes about the connection that Hazel and Augustus have with one another. Augustus loves to flirt with Hazel and Hazel loves him to flirt with her. She gets excited every time he texts her. Augustus tries to be really romantic to Hazel. He basically lives each day to try and please Hazel.
The movie that was made this year about this book really does a fantastic job with reacting the dinner part.
