The book that I have been reading is called The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. John is a really fantastic writer. While reading this book I have really felt like I was Hazel Grace. I felt her pain, love, and passion through out the book so far. Augustus by far was a special guy. You could tell that he lived each of his days around Hazel. He wanted her to be happy and just him calling or getting a text from him really made her happy. She just wasn't used to the whole flirting feeling because she usually kept to her self. She says in the book , "Flirting was new to me, but I liked it" page(52).
The book is about a girl that has lung cancer. She learns to keep to herself and reads all day long until her mom makes her go to some counseling session. She falls in love with a boy named Augustus who has experienced a type of cancer before, but thought he recovered when come to find out he didn't. He tries to make every day the best day of his life with Hazel. He even takes Hazel to her favorite long lost author.
It is your job to find out if they both live or die. I would recommend this book to teenage girls that like romantic.
It's cool that you were able to connect with Hazel. When an author writes so that you can do that it makes the book even better to read.
