Multi-genre projuct

After reading this article I found a topic that I found interesting called "Crumbled Creativity". It talked about how teachers are starting to listen to their students opinions a lot more. I think this is an awesome idea so that students can have the opportunity to get better learning experience. If a student does a better job learning by seeing things then she/he can tell his teacher that it would be better for them to learn by using the white board that way the student can see more while learning better. I experience this a lot during most of my classes where the teacher allows students to share their opinion. My Grammar and Comp I teacher allows students to write a paper about the class and review a little bit about the teacher. I do feel like a lot of students do tend to say hateful things and not realize it a whole lot.

  1. Perhaps you could pair this with Matthews blog about Common Core and how teaching is becoming more mandated? I'm glad some teachers are listening more than talking!

  4. This idea would definitely encourage students to go to school because everyone wants to be heard, especially if it's something they are strongly related to.

  5. This is a great topic that needs to be addressed because if teachers and students could have a relationship where they feel like they can say what they are feeling, and the teachers take it to heart without being discouraged things would run a lot smoother. The only problem with this is that you might have a hard time finding a lot of material to write about but you can do it!

  6. I really like this topic. In my anatomy class our teacher decides how to do the lessons solely based on student responses and preferences. It makes learning a lot fun and engaging.

  7. It sounds like a good idea. You could interview a teacher that you think has listened to opinions and a student who has been impacted by that positively. I hope it turns out well!

  8. Creativity should be encouraged in earning. People learn in different ways and I think teachers should appeal to that. Where are you going to find research on this topic? Will you interview anyone?

  9. It's really unfortunate that so many kids hate school so much, and take it for granted. I love when teachers are actually engaged in what they are teaching, and find ways to make learning enjoyable for everyone. Not everyone learns the same way so I think it's important that teachers take different learning styles into consideration.

  13. I prefer teachers that ask for your opinion on projects and feedback, because I feel like they actually care about how I do in their class. Can't wait to hear more!
